Senior Data Engineer
What you'll do
We want to help change the world. Origami is embracing a real technical challenge to build a technology platform at the forefront of a massively exciting green transformation in the global energy sector.
We’re developing a software platform that delivers a suite of interoperable and configurable cloud-based software product modules to help our customers meet the challenges of increasing complexity and volatility head on. Energy companies need to optimise physical and financial decisions in real-time - improving their trading performance, unlocking exciting new customer propositions, and investing in low carbon assets to accelerate the energy transition.
Origami is on a mission to help our customers make better, faster decisions within an energy system increasingly dominated by renewables. With renewables supplying a much higher proportion of total energy, we are seeing an explosion in physical and market volatility, and the industry is struggling to keep up.
We're now looking for a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer to take a key role building our ambitious data platform that brings analytical and operational data domains together to enable data-driven decision-making, machine learning and analytics as part of our energy performance management platform.

- Willing to implement change and improvements when seeing an opportunity
- Experience that shows you have the resilience and adaptability required to work in environments where uncertainty and hard problems are solved positively, rapidly, and collaboratively
Other great things you may have
- Data modelling experience
- You have coached and mentored team members in previous roles
